Let Howdy book appointments on your calendar
When booking is connected, Howdy does more than take a message. It schedules the caller right onto your calendar while they are still on the phone, then confirms the time back to them.
How booking works
Howdy books through Cal.com. Cal.com syncs to Google Calendar, Outlook, and iCloud from inside your Cal.com account, so an appointment Howdy books shows up wherever you already check your day. You do not have to switch calendars.
Connect it
- 1Create a free Cal.com account (or sign in to your existing one).
- 2Inside Cal.com, connect the calendar you actually use (Google, Outlook, or iCloud) and set your real availability.
- 3Create an event type for the kind of appointment callers book, for example a quote, an estimate, or a consult.
- 4In your Howdyly portal, open Settings → Integrations and connect Cal.com.
- 5Make a test call and ask Howdy to book you. Confirm it lands on your calendar.
Set your availability honestly
Howdy only offers the times your Cal.com availability says you are free. Keep it accurate so Howdy never books you into a slot you cannot make.
No calendar connected yet?
You are still covered. If Cal.com is not connected, Howdy captures the caller and saves them as a follow up so the lead is never lost. You will see it in your portal and can call them back to schedule. Connecting Cal.com just lets Howdy close the loop for you automatically.
